Mission Statement
The mission of the Leadership Committee is to identify
citizens of the area who have demonstrated the potential for
leadership and to create an annual training program that provides information which will develop
knowledge and understanding of our community, its
complexities and its potential, to acquaint and equip
potential leaders with tools for leadership.
2008 Goals
- To recruit, select and graduate a quality class of
future leaders;
- Oversee the planning and production of the
Leadership Coeur d’Alene Program;
- Maintain high standards for the program by holding
monthly session reviews; to help plan & follow session
planning guidelines;
- Increase awareness of the program to the public and
Leadership alumni through exposure in the media;
- Improve the financial status of the program by
adhering to a budget;
- Improve administration by overseeing yearbook
publication, membership recruitment & selection, the
Graduation Ceremony; and,
- To determine class member/members termination from
the class due to poor attendance.
- Develop a Leadership Institute Program, by providing
instruction on developing interpersonal leadership
skills that will be open to the membership.
Graduate Program
This program was designed for graduates of Leadership
Coeur d’Alene to provide specific training in leadership
skills. The program focuses on skills a leader needs to be
effective, skills that will enable one to reinvent there
workplaces, reenergize ways of doing business and
reinvigorate the corporate spirit.

*Classes are held the 4th Thursday of each month
beginning in
March and continuing thru the following February. Participation
is by application which is due by December 31st of the prior
year. Tuition is charged.
